On Friday 5th December, Dartmouth Academy will be holding a special Careers Fair for students in Years 9-13 and their parents. The event organised by Academy Teacher and Careers Coordinator Mandy Pigott, will provide an opportunity for students and parents to find out information first hand from visiting exhibitors including educators, companies and organisations from across South Devon.
The University of Plymouth, University of Southampton, Bicton College, South Devon College, Eltek Semiconductors, Spirent Communications, British Army and Navy, Monty Hall's Great Escapes, Dartmouth Caring and others will be in attendance to provide information and advice and to answer any questions that you and your child may have.
All parents of Year 9-13 students are invited to come along to the event being held in the Academy Library from 3:00pm. The annual Careers Fair is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable insights into the wealth of options available after their GCSE examinations. Whether your child is thinking about Further and/or Higher education or an employment based route beyond GSSEs and A Levels, or even if they haven't decided yet, the event can often bring about ideas and inspiration that they might not have previously thought about.
If you're unable to attend but would like to find out more about careers opportunities, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
