On the Friday before half term, the team collectively ran a Halloween themed Cake Stall for Academy students - complete with carved pumpkin and halloween inspired cake decorations!
Continuing the Halloween theme, George Bakewell won the Camps International countrywide Pumpkin Carving Competition! Prizes are awarded such as vouchers and equipment for the expedition. This time George won a hoodie for his carving talents!
On Wednesday 25th November, Dartmouth Academy held its annual Careers Day which involved all students from Year 7 to 6th Form. The main Careers Fair was held in the Library which students visited throughout the day.
The exhibitors all brought information for students to find out more about educational opportunities after Year 11, as well as employment routes beyond higher and further education. There was a mix of exhibitors from local employers such as Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boat Company...
