Our recent Skills Day on Friday 5th June saw Year 9 students participating in an enterprise activity called the Property Challenge. The day was jointly organised with Education Business Group, Dartmouth Academy, South West Science and Technology Ambassadors and Cavanna Homes.
Students worked in teams to design and develop a sustainable housing estate with 20 houses maximising the land and hopefully making a profit for their teams.

Year 10 learners are in now in the final couple of weeks of preparation and revision for their pre-public exams (previously known as mock exams) that they will be taking during the week beginning Monday 22nd June. Learners in Years 7-9 will also be completing end-of-year Maths assessments on Monday 29th June. The timetable for the exams can now be viewed on our website, or you can tap here to view a copy.
Dartmouth Academy Friends are once again holding a Bingo Night at Townstal Community Hall this coming Monday 15th June. All proceeds raised will be put towards play equipment for children at the Academy. There'll be great prizes for winners and refreshments will be available. Doors open at 6:30pm with Eyes Down at 7:30pm. Everyone welcome.

Each week, children in Years 1-6 answer questions posed to them by the maths games website, Sumdog. The pupils challenge themselves to answer as many questions as possible throughout the week, with those who answer the most questions awarded the accolade of Sumdog Champion!
