Dartmouth Academy students have achieved a set of tremendous results in the first year of the government’s new, more demanding GCSEs. The year group retained their predecessors’ record-breaking score of 65% for the old headline measure of the percentage of students gaining a grade C or above in both English and Maths. 76% of students scored a grade 4 or above in English and 67% scored a 4 or above in Maths. Year 5 pupils at Stoke Fleming Primary School visited Dartmouth Academy on Tuesday 26th March for a fantastic Art Day with Mrs Perrot, Head of Art and Design. They spent the morning creating wonderful artwork which represent who they are, with photos, oil painting, spray paint, ink and much more.
A big thank you to all the Year 5 pupils, from Stoke Fleming, who attended the mixed media workshop. They were all very enthusiastic and created some fantastic artwork!

Both Blackawton and Kingswear Primary Schools thoroughly enjoyed the multi media expressive workship with Miss Perrot. They also had the opportunity to talk with Dartmouth Academy pupils to find out about their school experiences.
