Back to school, Cadets!

On Thursday 23rd April, Dartmouth Academy’s Year 5 and 6 children received a pleasant surprise; cadets from Britannia Royal Naval College had come to treat them to a variety of fun activities instead of lessons. Flybe Employer Engagement Day with Year 9 students

On Friday 17th April, a group of Year 9 students spent the day at the Flybe Training Academy based at Exeter Airport. The aim of the day was to help students to learn more about the world of work and to look at different careers within one organisation. On Thursday 16th April, Year 10 students at Dartmouth Academy were offered the opportunity to see a performance of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' at The Theatre Royal, Plymouth. Each week, children in Years 1-6 answer questions posed to them by the maths games website, Sumdog. Something special is going on at Dartmouth this year. A new structured partnership between the Academy and the Rotary Club of Dartmouth, the Youth Liaison Group.
